Snack Wacky Foods, a beloved family-owned business in St. Thomas, Ontario, takes pride in offering top-quality food to locals and tourists alike. The family’s secret to success lies in using fresh ingredients, locally sourced produce, and a special family recipe for their mouth-watering burger patties, ensuring customers keep returning for more.
In 2006, Hermann and Annie Klassen established Snack Wacky Foods. After receiving assistance from the Community Futures Program through the Elgin Business Resource Centre (EBRC) in 2014, they decided to expand in 2020. By returning to EBRC for financial support and guidance, the Klassens were able to provide a spacious seating area and a bigger parking lot for their customers.
Hermann and Annie began construction right after Snack Wacky Foods closed for the winter season in 2020-2021. The restaurant reopened in April 2021 and consistently receives rave reviews.
Managing a business, especially a seasonal one, for 18 years is a significant achievement worthy of celebration. EBRC is thrilled to contribute to Snack Wacky Foods’ ongoing and upcoming triumphs.
