CF Ontario members are invited to attend a webinar with Equifax Canada to learn about the upcoming Credit Lock mandate and receive an overview of Equifax services and pricing available to CFDCs through the CF Ontario group program.
Beginning in 2026, new requirements related to consumer credit file protections will impact how credit reports are accessed. This session will provide CFDC staff with an overview of the changes, what they mean for organizations that access credit reports, and how Equifax services can support compliant credit verification processes.
During this session, Equifax representatives will:
- Provide an overview of the upcoming Credit Lock mandate and related policy changes
- Explain how the changes may impact credit checks and lending workflows
- Review Equifax products and services commonly used by CFDCs
- Present the current CF Ontario member pricing structure
- Answer questions from participants
Equifax will be joined by consumer and commercial specialists who can provide additional insight and respond to technical questions from members.
