Inclusive Hiring:

Stats, strategies and strengths-based approaches Learn some important stats about persons with visible and invisible disabilities in the Canadian post secondary system and in Canada, bust some myths about what it means to hire individuals with disabilities, talk to your peers about their experiences as hiring managers, and walk away with some concrete strategies employers can use to make hiring practices more inclusive for everyone.

Leading With Stories: Building Community In The Workplace

Humanizing leadership through stories. Building a sense of care and community within your workplace sets your direction, enhances staff engagement, and inspires collegial goal setting. Being comfortable with being authentically you and providing invitations through your leadership philosophy story, your company story builds teams and reciprocity. Examples of local businesses/entrepreneurs sharing their stories set the stage for developing your own context to open the door to relationships and a sense of belonging amongst your staff.
